SAN FRANCISCO -- (November 1, 2022) -- MakerSights, the Voice of Consumer platform purpose-built for consumer-obsessed retail brands, welcomes Alex Rowe to its senior executive leadership team as Senior Vice President of Revenue. As the head of Sales, Implementation, Professional Services, and Customer Success, Rowe will accelerate MakerSights' trajectory and deepen relationships with retail brands to increase the adoption of modern product-to-market tools and processes that drive category strategy and boost margins by facilitating consumer obsession throughout the brand.
“The retail industry is ripe with opportunity for new transformative technology and MakerSights has already proven itself to be invaluable to many of the most successful brands around the globe,” said Rowe. “I’m thrilled to join MakerSights at this stage when we are just beginning to redefine how products are made and brought to market. Perhaps even more exciting, though, is that I am surrounded by such a curious, customer-focused team driven not by ego, but by a mission to mitigate the retail industry’s impact on climate change while simultaneously addressing some of retail’s greatest challenges by giving consumers a voice in the product development process. I am looking forward to scaling this amazing team that is so passionate about what they do and the brands that they work with; it is no wonder that they’ve quickly earned the trust of our customers and respect from the industry at large.”
With more than two decades of success in sales leadership, Rowe’s experience working with retail powerhouses, like Amazon and Procter & Gamble, has given him hard-won insight into the problems many brands face today. He spent the last six years as vice president of sales for the e-commerce platform Stackline, adding over $50M to the startup’s growth during his tenure. His rich expertise in both retail and tech industries paired with his commitment to serving customers makes him an ideal fit to lead MakerSights’ next phase of growth.
“We are excited to welcome Alex as our revenue leader and to tap into his expertise in growth as MakerSights looks to expand into new markets,” said MakerSights CEO and Co-founder Dan Leahy. “We deeply value the partnerships we build with our customers and the close collaboration between our teams and theirs as we help them deliver profitable assortments that consumers love season after season. Alex’s impressive track record comes as much from expanding current partnerships as creating new ones, making him the ideal person to lead all of our customer-facing teams.”
